What you do in the app

Each area below is available after sign-in. Weights, cost, tax, and stock stay on the server.

The plant

Gaps the product is built around

These show up when purchasing, the mill, the warehouse, and accounts each keep their own sheet.

  • Raw material prices move, and purchase history is hard to compare across suppliers.
  • The same ingredient may come from several suppliers, with different quality and rates.
  • Formulas change, and older versions are easy to lose in spreadsheets.
  • Production is batch-wise, so consumption and output need to stay tied to the batch.
  • Raw material and finished-goods stock drift when receipts, issues, and sales are recorded separately.
  • Moisture and quantity adjustments need to be captured with the receipt or batch, not recalculated later by hand.
  • Planning the next run depends on orders, stock, and the formula in use.
  • Finished feed has to be traced by batch after it leaves the mixer.
  • Stock on the book and stock in the warehouse need a reconciliation path.
  • Customers and dealers are managed apart from dispatch and outstanding sales.
  • Purchase and sales teams work from different sheets, so the plant sees the order late.
  • GST, invoices, and collections need the same customer and material records as sales.
  • A second plant should not mean a second set of books.
  • Owners ask for production, purchase, stock, and sales in one view.
  • Excel files become the system of record, and two copies rarely match.

Feed manufacturing

Designed around the mill

Formulas, moisture, batches, and bagged feed are part of the product, not a generic ledger with feed words added later.

Raw material management

Keep maize, soybean meal, bran, minerals, additives, and other ingredients as materials, with stock, receipts, and movements.

Formula management

Store feed formulas, ingredient lines, protein percentage, and versions. Formula cost impact shows the effect of material prices returned by the server.

Batch production

Plan a run and record the batch from raw material consumption through finished output, including rework and waste.

Moisture and quantity

Receiving and quality screens capture the quantities and moisture the API already accepts. The server applies those adjustments. The website does not recalculate them.

Cost calculation

Formula cost impact and production cost figures come from the API, so a price change can be reviewed without a spreadsheet total.

Finished goods

Track finished feed by product, quantity, batch, and warehouse, including packing, expiry, and dispatch.

Dealers and customers

Maintain customers, dealers, orders, dispatch, returns, targets, schemes, and secondary sales that the API already stores.

More than one plant

A company can have more than one plant. After sign-in, the person works in the plant assigned to them. This is the current plant model, not a separate future module.
